ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: For purposes of 42 USC 12101:
Primary Responsibilities
(1) Caseload Support: Provide coverage for agent caseloads during leave, vacancies, or onboarding transitions.
(2) Special Projects: Lead or assist with department-wide initiatives such as backlog reduction, audit preparation, and compliance reviews. - VAWA & Hardship Cases: Serve as point of contact for sensitive cases requiring confidentiality, urgency, and policy adherence. - Voucher Extensions: Manage extension requests and ensure timely processing aligned with HUD guidelines. - Reporting & Data Management: Support managers with recurring and ad hoc reporting needs, including compliance metrics and performance dashboards. - Process Improvement: Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose solutions to streamline recertification operations.
(3) Customer Service Escalations: Triage and resolve participant issues to reduce supervisor involvement.
(4) Inbox Management: Monitor and respond to shared inbox communications to ensure timely service delivery.
(5) Monthly PIC-EIV Reporting Corrections: Perform monthly corrections and validations to maintain compliance and data integrity.
(6) IR/MIP Team Backup and Support: Provide overflow assistance to IR and MIP teams during high-volume periods or staff absences.
(7) Training & Mentorship: Assist supervisors in onboarding new staff and providing refresher training on processes and documentation standards. - Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with applications, intake, contracting, and compliance teams to ensure seamless participant experience. - Policy Adherence: Maintain familiarity with the HCV Administrative Plan and ensure all actions align with CMHA policies.
(8) Acts as a cultural ambassador for the organization. Implements strategies to ensure that the organizational mission, vision and values are exemplified within the department. Works with the community to advance partnerships and organizational positioning through the system.
(9) Attends meetings and serves on committees, as directed; attends training and seminars, as directed.
(10) Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
(11) Maintains required licensure and/or certification.
(12) Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable OSHA safety standards that pertain to essential functions.
(13) Performs other related duties as assigned.
