Employment Opportunities
Housing Assistance Manager (Annual salary $49,714)
Assists the Section 8 Director with the operation
of the Section 8 Program. Manages and directs internal
Section 8 operations to ensure that timely and accurate
services and payments are issued to Section 8 clients and
landlords in conformance with HUD and CMHA policies.
Administers Section 8 policies and procedures.
Establishes policies and sets goals and performance
standards for the department. Employee works with
considerable independence in accordance with CMHA, HUD and
Section 8 Programs Department regulations, policies and
procedures.
Minimum requirements
- College course work with an attained level of a Bachelor of Arts of
Science degree in public administration, business, urban planning, or
related field of study.
- Must have 3 years experience in a supervisory position preferably in a
public sector or customer services environment.
- Effective organizational, supervisory and communication skills essential.
- Thorough knowledge of Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher eligibility
requirements pertaining to agents/owners as required by HUD.
- Must have valid Ohio Drivers License.
